Field of work
Øystein Røsseland Kvinge teaches and supervises in various programmes at Institute of arts education. In general teacher education he is currently involved in courses on artistic work. He has also organised courses on Philosophy of science and methods, and Music education, its foundations and current trends. He is also involved in organising and teaching at the Master in arts education and Master in creative learning processes.
Currently he is involved in organising the second edition of the European contest for student bands, EuropaVox Campus. He is also leadning the development of a new fully digital course on Laptop as instrument and production tool, I & II.
He organises a monthly jazz cafe, JazzGalleriet, where he also plays the piano with the in-house orchestra. Bergen Vista Social Club is his regular "gig band" that does salsa and other latin styles.
