Associate Professor
Thomas Henrik Hertzfelder Hansen
Field of work
Thomas holds a PhD from NTNU and works with machine-learning methods and numerical simulations for optimisation related to ship resistance, offshore wind, and other hydro- and aerodynamic problems. He is a member of the W3 research group and coordinates the master's collaboration in ocean technology with the University of Bergen (UiB).
Works closely with MarinLab on experimental validation and cooperates with local marine industry on projects related to ocean technology and renewable energy.
