Norway is a country with long distances with scattered population, many and comparably small fire stations. There is therefore a need for low cost and efficient test methodologies for assessin firefighter fitness. Efficient and fundamentally based low cost methods for analyzing firefighters physical health will be developed in the project. Whether such methods can be transferred to fire fighters and civic groups supporting locan fire brigades in Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) fires will be investigated.

Method
