Learning Outcome

Knowledge:
- Has broad knowledge of vocational subjects, pedagogy and vocational didactics, working methods/tools and processes relevant for professional practice and is able to evaluate the need for HSE measures
- Is familiar with national and international research and development work relevant to the teaching profession within the pedagogical and professional area and is able to update their knowledge within the field
Skills:
- Is able to apply their professional, pedagogical, didactic and technological knowledge
- Masters relevant work processes, tools, techniques and forms of expression and is able to reflect on their own professional practice and adjust this under supervision
- Has the ability to plan, justify, implement, manage, evaluate and document relevant academic and vocational education adapted to the pupils'/apprentices' needs
- Is able to identify and work systematically with basic skills including didactic use of digital tools
General competence:
- Has insight into relevant academic and professional ethical issues and can communicate key subject matter in Norwegian, both verbally and in writing, and through other forms of documentation
- Is able to inspire pupils'/apprentices' learning, professional pride and professional identity based on academic insight, commitment and communication abilities
- Is able to form good relationships with pupils/apprentices and create constructive and inclusive learning environments
- Is able to build good relationships and collaborate with parents and other relevant partners

Teaching methods
The candidate will conduct observations, be responsible for planning and implementation of teaching and participate in evaluation work in collaboration with the practical supervisor. The candidate will participate in the meetings and collaboration forums held at the practical location.
Compulsory learning activities
The candidate must have completed practice in collaboration with an approved practical teacher and subject teacher and obtained approval of the practice plan and practice report.
