Course description for academic year 2022/2023

Contents and structure

In addition to the general introduction to company types and the Companies Act's rules on responsible companies, the course will include a thorough review of the company law's rules on the formation of limited companies, groups, shares, shareholders' transfer, dividends / gifts / collateral, mergers / demergers, and termination / dissolution of joint stock company.

Teaching methods

The main emphasis of the teaching consists of lectures and problem solving. The course has two individual semester assignments. The semester assignments are assessed as approved / not approved.

Compulsory learning activities

Two submissions must be approved before the exam.

Approved work requirements are valid in the examination semester and three subsequent semesters.

Assessment

Written school exam, 5 hours.

Exams may be held on a digital exam system.

The time and place of the exam will be announced on Studentweb.

Grade scale A-F, where F does not correspond to a pass.
