JU6-1000 Business Law

Contents and structure

The course provides an introduction to important elements of business law: contract law, consumer law, company law, marketing law, law of negotiable instruments, financial criminal law and bancruptcy law. The course also includes an introduction to legal method, how to identify and apply a legal rule and how to solve specific legal questions.

Learning Outcome

Knowledge:

The student shall:

• achieve knowledge of sentral rules withing the subjects ontract law, consumer law, company law, marketing law, law of negotiable instruments, financial criminal law and bancruptcy law.
• achieve basic knowledge of legal metod.

Skills:

The student shall:

• be able to solve legal questions relating to the relevant subject.

General competence:

The student shall:

• be aware of the minimum rights that the rules of law provide.

Lectures and problem solving.

Compulsory learning activities

Up to three written assignments. Must be done individually.

Assessment

4 hour written exam.
