Janne Sønnesyn

Field of work

She is Assistant Head of Department at the Department of Language, Literature, Mathemathics and Interpreting, and has Teacher Training and Education 1-7 as her main responsibility.

She holds a PhD in Norwegian language and language didactics, and her field of research is particularly related to language learning, language didactics, language management, language ideologies and language attitudes. She has worked extensively with young people's written language choices, with a special focus on the conditions for users of Nynorsk.
