Field of work
Mette defended her PhD degree in the spring of 2017 at the Department of Social Psychology, University of Bergen. She previously had a master's degree in health sciences specializing in nursing science and is a trained psychiatric nurse. She has broad work experience in mental health work, with experience from forensic psychiatry and many years of work with psychosocial follow-up after life crises and abuse. Mette is employed in a 20% position at HVL and has her main work in Helse Bergen, Competence Center for Security, Prison and Forensic Psychiatry (SIFER). Mette is the project manager for several research projects and healthservice innovation projects, such as the Revolving Door Project. Through this work, she immersed himself in health service innovation and the development of digital health service solutions.
