Field of work
A social anthropologist by training, I have broad interests in education and society. My work focuses in particular on social inequality, democracy and citizenship, and international collaboration in education.
At the Stord campus, I teach social studies in both the primary teacher education (GLU) and early childhood teacher education (BLU) programmes.
Currently, I lead the research group Education, Democracy and Inequality.
As the "FoU-contact" for Tjødnalio School and Rubbestadneset School, I help strengthen partnerships between teacher education and local schools. Read more about the collaboration here: Lærerutdanningsskoler og lærerutdanningsbarnehager - Høgskulen på Vestlandet
