Sarah Helene Aarestad

Field of work

I am employed as an Associate Professor in Mental Health and Substance Use in the Bachelor of Nursing programme, and I am also the International Academic Coordinator.
 
I have a PhD in Psychology and defended my dissertation in 2022, titled:
“Treating the aftermath of exposure to workplace bullying and preventing exclusion from working life. The effect of individual resilience, return to work self-efficacy and work-focused metacognitive and cognitive treatment.”
 
From 2022–2025, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the ANeED Joint-Effort 21 study, where my research focused on carergivers of individuals with Lewybody dementia.
