Project summary
DICE is an international EU-supported cross-cultural research study investigating the effects of educational theatre and drama on five of the eight EU Key Competences in education. The research was conducted by twelve partners: Hungary (leader), Czech Republic, Netherlands, Norway, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden and United Kingdom.
The results of the project was first presented in the EU headquarters in Brussels, 2010.
The Norwegian partner in the project has been Bergen University College (BUC), the drama department, within the Faculty of Education. The research team is: Kari Mjaaland Heggstad (project leader), Katrine Heggstad and Stig A. Eriksson.
October 19th, 2010 we convened a full day National DICE conference presenting the results from the DICE research project, with guest lectures from the DICE consortium: Adam Cziboly (main project leader) and Chris Cooper.
