Field of work
Associate professor at the master's programme in clinical nursing (specialisation in diabetes nursing) and the PhD programme Health, Function and Participation. Currently on 40% leave.
I also work at Haukeland University Hospital (HUH) as a senior advisor at the Centre for patient-reported outcomes data in the Department of Research and Development. I have extensive experience as a diabetes nurse in the Department of Internal Medicine at HUH. I have also been a postdoctoral fellow at the same clinic from January 2022 to September 2025.
I represent the nursing field in the Regional Ethics Committee (REK Vest) (2025-2029). In addition, I am a member of the National Council for Diabetes (Directorate of Health).
