StudentFORSK HVL

Project summary

The mandate for the project has been given and approved by the Vice-Rector for Education and the Vice-Rector for Research at HVL on 23.02.25. The goal is to create a culture at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences where collaboration between students and staff promotes innovative research, and where students early in their studies already see themselves as active participants in knowledge development. We aim to create an environment that encourages exploration, learning, and collaboration, where research is not only reserved for experienced researchers but also allows room for curiosity and engagement from the students. By integrating research as a natural part of the study program, we aim to help build confidence, skills, and a deeper understanding among students, enabling them to become important contributors to society and to the university's knowledge development.
