Everyday life in ECEC
The research group KiB conducts research in early childhood education, drawing on various theoretical approaches and employing both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
The research is focused, among other things, on children's development, play and interaction in kindergarten, didactics and professional practice in early childhood settings, aesthetic and bodily learning processes, the kindergarten as a learning arena, as well as the early childhood teacher profession and professionalization.
The group is multidisciplinary and its members are academic staff and doctoral candidates, with a goal of including bachelor's and master's students in the group. The research is organized into several different projects.
