Food and Nutrition

The research group aims to contribute new knowledge about nutrition, diet and meal practices in different life stages and in different arenas. This includes research on nutrition and meals in contexts such as school, after-school programs and kindergarten, on the school subject food and health, and on a health-promoting diet in a life-course perspective.

The research group consists of employees with a broad professional background, including natural science, humanities, social science and educational research.

The research group works on several projects that focus on the school subject food and health, school meals in both primary and secondary schools, food and meals in kindergarten, food literacy among students and how disruptions in life affect health habits in old age.
