Research group in reading and writing didactics
Research group in reading and writing didactics is an interdisciplinary research group that works to acquire new knowledge about reading and writing with relevance for the entire school curriculum, with an emphasis on both beginner education and further reading and writing education.
The group researches reading and writing as fundamental skills in all subjects and has ongoing projects related to, among other things, Norwegian, mathematics and English.
The research activity in the group will result in new knowledge about reading and writing development in primary school pupils, about literacy competence across subjects and in didactic models adapted to both beginner education and further reading and writing education.
