Reading and Writing Didactics
Reading and Writing Didactics is a multidisciplinary research group aiming at developing new insight in reading and writing didactics relevant for both primary and lower secondary school, focusing equally on initial and advanced training.
The group members do research on reading and writing as key competencies in the subject fields of Norwegian, Mathematics, Christian and other religious and ethical education (CREE) and English.
The ongoing research aims at increased knowledge of students’ literacy skills across the curriculum as well as the development of didactical models adapted both for initial and advanced training.
