Arbeids- og kompetanseområde
Having studied Natural Resource Management as my Bachelor and Climate Change Management as my Master, my interest lies in understanding the social, economic, political and environmental implications of our energy system. From 2019 to 2022 I have been involved in the Horizon 2020 project COMETS - Collective action Models for the Energy Transition and Social Innovation. In this project we investigated how, why and to what extent citizens come together to collectively engage in the energy transition, for example through so-called Energy Communities. Since 2020 I am enrolled as PhD student at the University of Clermont-Auvergne. My PhD project builds on COMETS, further investigating the business models and partner networks of such Energy Communities.
At the Department for Environmental Sciences, I use my interdisciplinary knowledge of the various aspects of the energy system and the different connected methodological approaches of study to teach in the the introductory course on the energy system and the methods course in the Renewable Energy Bachelor Program.
