Arbeids- og kompetanseområde

I am a physicist with practical experience in multidisciplinary projects combining physics, geology, experimentation, numerical simulation and theory. During my education I specialized in the study of non-linear physics, fluid flows, porous systems, relaxation mechanics and extreme value statistics. As a result, my interest became focused on the experimental investigation of physical systems yielding complex spatial and temporal behavior often in a geological setting. This has led me to investigate processes governing Martian surface geomorphology, and closer to home, glaciological interaction with climate change and the science of snow metamorphism.
