Amund Riiser

Professor and research program manager for Sports, physical activity and food. Research and teach subjects related to physical activity and health, and sport science. Played football as a child and has researched factors related to physical performance during matches in young football player and elite referees.

Ana Lorena Marche

Bachelor's degree in physical education from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2006), a master's degree in sports science from the State University of Campinas (2010). PhD in movement biodynamics from the State University of Campinas (2016). She worked as an educational coordinator at the football university from 2010 to 2017. In 2017, she joined the Ferroviária S/A club as women's football manager and stayed there until 2019. She currently works as a women's football coordinator in the São Paulo Football Association.  - Lattes

Anine Brudeseth

Assistant Professor at HVL. Master's degree in Sports Science and practical pedagogical education at HiSF. Researching the effect of strength training for the elderly. She is a former figure skater form from Tønsberg, been living in Sogndal the past twelve years. Working as an assistant professor/lecturer here at HVL, campus Sogndal. Teaching among other things pedagogy, coaching and a lot for practical subjects. Anine love all kinds of movement and sports; running, strength training, yoga, snowboard, skiing, hiking – you name it!

Gustavo Piana

Bachelor Student of Physical Education in UFPR, Physical and Assistant Coach at Gurias Football and Coach at the project FutDelas in Brazil! He was part of the research group in Exercise Physiology CEPEFIS with Dr. Raul Osiecki, and he is currently doing a Post graduation programme about Physical Training and Recovery in Football.

Humberto Moreira Carvalho

Adjunct professor at the School of  Sports, Federal University of Santa Catarina. He studied Sport Sciences and Physical Education (BSc and PhD) and Youth Sports Training (MSc) at the University of Coimbra. His research interests focus on the individual and contextual factors that affect the development of young athletes. His research uses various quantitative methodologies to examine repeated measures data including the use of hierarchical/multilevel modeling using Bayesian methods.

João Pedro Stec

Graduating from the Bachelor's degree in Physical Education at the Federal University of Paraná. Works in the project Empowering Girls Through Football and participates in the Center for Studies and Research in the History of Sport and Physical Education. Research subjects related to cultural history, applied philosophy and social theory of sports and physical education.

Jon Navarsete

Teacher at secondary school for 36 years. Sport Journalist for 6 years. Played for Sogndal 1970-79. Cup final 1976, great achievement. He has around 20 years of experience as footballcoach, training girls (9 year olds) and women.

Júlia Barreira Augusto

Professor of the Physical Education course at the State University of Campinas (FEF/UNICAMP) and accredited in the postgraduate program at the same institution. Graduated, Master and PhD in Physical Education from FEF/UNICAMP. She teaches football and futsal, and develops research related to sports participation and performance. She received the Brazil Prize for Theses and Dissertations on Football for investigating the development process of women's football in 11 countries around the world. She is coordinator of the GTT-Sports Management: Diversity and Cultural Identity of the Brazilian Sports Management Association (ABRAGESP). She develops projects for sports organizations and works as a reviewer for national and international journals. - Lattes

Katrine Nyvoll Aadland

Associate Professor/ Postdocoral Fellow at the Department of Sport, Food and Natural Sciences at HVL. She is involved in large research projects in Kindergartens focusing on physical activity, play and health. Her Ph.D. examined relationships between indices of physical activity and cognitive functions in school children

Line Danielsen

Played senior football actively for IK Grand Bodø and Medkila for 18 seasons. Experience includes roles such as sports director for IK Grand Bodø, playing assistant coach for the first team, and employee representative in the main board (Toppserien and 1st division). Served as captain, part of player committees, and participated in national youth teams. Current job: Head of Department for Physical Education, Sports, and Outdoor Activities at Nord University. Education: Master's degree in Coaching and Leadership, and a doctorate in Professional Knowledge, focusing on leading female athletes – A study of coaching and leadership roles in a professional perspective. Luana Loss Cabral

Bachelor's degree in physical education from UNICENTRO (2012), a master’s degree in Sports Science from UFPR (2018) and a PhD in Sports Science from UFPR (2023). Researches Sports performance and Psychophysiology focusing on psychological interventions to improve performance. Currently work as a postdoctoral researcher and sports technique in the project «Empowering girls through football».

Robyn L. Jones

Professor at the Cardiff School of Sport and Health Sciences, Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK, and a Visiting Professor (II) at HVL. He has (co) published in excess of 80 peer reviewed articles, 40 book chapters and 13 books on sports coaching and pedagogy; the latter include ‘Sports coaching cultures’, ‘The sports coach as educator’ and ‘A sociology of sports coaching’. Robyn is also the General Editor of the Taylor & Francis journal Sports Coaching Review. During the past 15 years, he has served as a coaching consultant for numerous bodies including the Football Association (FA), the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) and High Performance Sport New Zealand. Being both a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and the Academy of Social Sciences (FAcSS), Robyn is considered a leading  figure in both coaching scholarship and coach education. Finally, his (football) coaching experience stretches from working with school children, to a professional position at Queens Park Rangers Football Club in London, to being a regional Director of Football in New Zealand.
