Hun disputerte i august 2016 med avhandlingen "Delirium after Aortic Valve Therapy. A Prospective Cohort Study of Octogenarian Patients following Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation" fra Universitetet i Bergen.
