Økt studentmobilitet i LUPE - Increased student mobility in LUPE

Prosjektsamandrag

Målet for prosjektet: «Økt studentmobilitet i LUPE» er å etablere kultur- og struktur for internasjonalisering i Lærerutdanningen for praktiske og estetiske fag for trinn 1-13 (LUPE) slik at utveksling og internasjonalt samarbeid sees som en naturlig del av studieløpet, både for studenter og ansatte. Vi har hatt en lav andel studenter i faglærerutdanningen i kroppsøving og musikk som har dratt på utveksling og vi har lav andel av innreisende studenter og utveksling av fagansatte.  

Prosjektet er et samarbeid mellom de fagområdene som tilbys i LUPE ved HVL i dag, kroppsøving og musikk, og vil ha positiv effekt for 260 studenter og 30 fagansatte. Det er Institutt for idrett, kosthald og naturfag (IIKN) og institutt for kunstfag (IK) som har fått innvilget midler fra HK-dir. 

Aktuelle partnere i prosjektet er Mount Royal University fra Canada, University of Highlands and Islands fra Skottland, Saxion University of Applied Sciences fra Nederland og Education University of Hong Kong. De to første universitetene er nåværende partnere i et NOTED prosjekt og det fjerde universitet har HVL et UTFORSK samarbeid med hvor mobiliteter med LUPE inngår. Prosjektet tar høyde for å knytte til seg flere partnere gjennom prosjektperioden.  

The goal of the project "Increased student mobility in LUPE" is to establish a culture and structure for internationalization within the Teacher Education for Practical and Aesthetic Subjects for Grades 1-13 (LUPE). The aim is to ensure that exchange and international collaboration are seen as a natural part of the study program for both students and staff.

So far, we have had a low proportion of students in the Physical Education and Music Teacher Education programs participating in exchange programs. Additionally, the number of incoming exchange students and staff mobility has been relatively low.

The project is a collaboration between the subject areas offered within LUPE at HVL, specifically Physical Education and Music. It is expected to positively impact 260 students and 30 faculty members. The Department of Sport, Food, and Natural Sciences (IIKN) and the Department of Arts Education (IK) have been granted funding from HK-dir.

The project’s key partners include Mount Royal University (Canada), University of the Highlands and Islands (Scotland), Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), Education University of Hong Kong

The first two universities are current partners in a NOTED project, while the fourth university collaborates with HVL through a UTFORSK project, which includes mobility opportunities within LUPE. The project also aims to establish additional partnerships throughout its duration.
