Virtual MRI software has the potential to offer radiographer students and practicing radiographers a unique possibility of hands-on training. Giving the practitioners a long-missed practical experience on how changes in parameters affect imaging in the MRI system by realistically simulating changes without a patient present. Long-missed because of radiographers' lack of time and possibilities of testing changes due to no available time and patients for training in a clinical ward.

This study aims to explore the students' experiences with using this learning tool and their perception of whether it aids and/ or adds to their knowledge and skills development in basic MRI physics.

Metode

Kvalitativ metode.

This is a qualitative case-based study using semi-structured interviews.
