HVL Library Talks: Open Science/Access: An introduction
Zoom
This first part of the session gives a brief introduction to the umbrella term "Open Science" and to the benefits of practising Open Science.
The second part provides a general introduction to Open Access – starting out from three questions:
- What is Open Access?
- Why Open Access?
- How to achieve Open Access?
The final part will focus specifically on Open Access for PhD students, in particular how you can make your doctoral thesis openly accessible to readers everywhere.
This session is part of HVL library talks spring 2026, a series of talks and lectures offered by the library's Unit for research support.
