Arbeids- og kompetanseområde
Roy Miodini Nilsen er forsker og professor ved Høgskulen på Vestlandet. Han har en doktorgrad fra Universitetet i Bergen, hvor han skrev en avhandling om folat og reproduktiv helse. Nilsen er også tilknyttet Helse Bergen HF og Helse Fonna HF som biostatistiker. Hans forskningsområder inkluderer folkehelse, epidemiologi og helsetjeneste, og han har publisert en rekke artikler innen disse feltene. Nilsen har bidratt til betydelige studier, inkludert forskning på følgende områder:
